Shawn Sanbar, founder and co-owner of Atlas Digital, is a Los Angeles native with 16 years of experience in Post Production. Shawn has supervised Post Production on over 4000 hours of television, from documentaries to reality shows; from talk shows and live events to magazine style cooking shows, helping to oversee the post that launched such channels as HGTV and the National Geographic Channel. Drawing on his experience in Post Production, Shawn began Atlas Digital in 2003 as a company focused on defining post workflows backed by a complete repertoire of post services.
Dan Warner joined Atlas Digital in 2004 after spending years as a high profile post supervisor on major network television shows, including Survivor, Big Brother, Cupid, The Player and The World Poker Tour. Dan serves as COO and is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of Atlas. A native New Yorker, Dan moved out to Los Angeles after graduating from the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College in upstate New York. During his freelance career, Dan has worked in virtually every position in the television post-production business from Post Supervisor to Editor to Graphics to Dubbing. His unique combination of high technical proficiency and managerial skills make him an essential part of Atlas' senior management.
Bryan O’Patry joined Atlas as part of a merger with PilotWare in 2009. His tenure at PilotWare began in 2001, where he acted as President and CEO, helping Founder, Pilot Peppler to manage a growing list of clients and challenges associated with delivering software to television production in the expanding reality genre. Drawing from his entrepreneurial background, Bryan crafted licensing programs and developed an equipment rental division that became standard components on hundreds of reality productions. Originally from San Diego, Bryan moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California where he majored in economics and minored in cinema.
Ryan Hammer rounds out the technical side of Atlas Digital, providing over 10 years of post production experience. Working his way up the ranks, he has quietly but consistently brought excellence to every position he has filled: from a post-production assistant to now Sr. Sales Engineer.
Pilot Peppler started working with software systems in Los Angeles in 1991. He launched his first company called ‘Creative Solutions’ in 1992 to deliver business solutions to small, medium, and large businesses. The education and learning experience Pilot received while working with successful, entrepreneurial businesses throughout Los Angeles was worth more than a University’s business degree. Setting up workflow and data management systems for businesses led Pilot to gain knowledge and understanding of the elements and dynamics of running a successful business. Soon, Pilot was recognized not only as someone who wrote powerful software, but also as a business consultant who could implement better business practices for his clients. In 1996, Pilot was brought into a number of television shows and post production facilities to design systems for them. Realizing the lack of consistency of computerized workflow and data management systems specializing in television, he started PilotWare Systems Inc. This allowed Pilot to bring his business background and workflow experience to the chaotic world of television production. His user-friendly interface and rapid deployment techniques were met with great enthusiasm and helped many television productions become more time and cost efficient. As President and CEO of PilotWare Systems Inc., Pilot rolled out systems to over 500 television productions worldwide, becoming an integral part of television production workflow. In 2009, Pilot merged PilotWare with Atlas Digital with the objective of providing a higher level of tech support, improving post production hardware integration, and designing new, innovative solutions for the industry. His over thirty years of business background and experience can be a valuable asset to the Atlas Digital team.
